We first saw Birth Journey's with Leah advertised on social media and loved the idea of a Local midwife, with all the real life knowledge and experience of the Leeds services offering antenatal classes. We booked on as soon as we could and we're so so glad that we did.

Leah is one of those people who is so passionate about what's she's taking about, that it makes you feel passionate and confident about it to. We learnt so much about what we might face in the final months of pregnancy, during labour and afterwards. Leah has managed to create the perfect balance between knowledge sharing and lived experiences, and between positive thoughts and realistic expectations. Because of this, we left each week feeling more and more prepared, and empowered to make the right choices for us and our baby.

One of the most standout things for us as a same sex couple, is that Leah's course is truly inclusive. As a two mum family we are used to facing phrases like 'mum and dad' in books, on forms etc, but Leah uses inclusive language throughout her course, which made us feel so welcome.

This course is true value for money, we got so much out of it and we would recommend this for any expectant parents in Leeds!
